MEDIA RELATIONS — CASE STUDY

Objective

— Generate high-impact media coverage in influential national and regional print, broadcast and online outlets that convey the story of Whitetail Club and Shore Lodge and position them as a highly desirable private residential community and mountain resort.

Increase awareness for McCall, Idaho as an ideal year-round mountain-lake-snow destination for vacations, second/third homes, weddings, groups and meetings to help drive real estate sales and resort bookings.

Execution

— Identified creative story and ideas leveraging the unique nature of SLWC’s destination and elements that created a sense of place for homeowners and guests, as well as gave media timely reasons to cover the private residential community, resort and destination.

Generated creative ideas for unique programming and amenities that generated media buzz and increase sales and resort bookings. Successful ideas include: Christmas Tree Hunting excursion, Sleigh Rides with Elk

Collaborated with partner agencies (digital, social media, advertising, etc.) and sales and marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all channels

Results

— Secured A-list print press in The Wall Street Journal, Alaska Beyond Magazine, LUXURY Magazine, Mountain Living Magazine, Idaho Statesman, etc.

The Wall Street Journal feature has generated 80% of the year’s real estate leads for Whitetail Club.

Online coverage included WSJ.com, NYT.com, Mansion Global, Travel & Leisure Online, Robb Report.com, Brides.com, MSN.com, Idaho Business Review, etc.
