—For over 11 years, Murphy O’Brien has represented Sunrise Company, developer of luxury private residential golf communities across Southern California including both Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells and Andalusia Country Club in La Quinta. To keep the community top of mind and continually fresh with media, Murphy O’Brien has consistently reinvented the wheel to create unique story angles centered around Toscana that draw in target media opportunities
Strategy
— Launched a PR campaign that focused on securing print, online and television placements in top tier media outlets that showcased the lifestyle driven amenities that enhanced the residential golf destination
Coordinated media visits with key regional media targets, hosting key media on property and coordinated property tours and amenity enjoyment that resulted in feature stories on the community
Created specialized pitches promoting the amenities at Toscana including the golf course, club house and spa, tennis program, Spa facility and F&B offerings
Led buzzworthy announcements for the renovation of Toscana’s amenities and also Sunrise’s acquisition and renovation of Andalusia’ amenities
Results
— For Toscana, media coverage since the campaign launched has generated more than 41,580,000 impressions, representing an advertising value of $486,613 – a nearly 5:1 ROI
MO secured three Wall Street Journal features within the 2020-2021 time frame; one WSJ story resulted in a direct sale of a new luxury home, and the new buyers bringing in two more sets of leads, their friends interested in buying as well after reading the story, “When Friends Move Next Door.”
In 2020 alone, MO secured 41 placements for Andalusia Country Club, totaling 116,777,223 impressions; press included WSJ, Forbes, Club & Resort Business, Mansion Global and more.
