In June 2020, Murphy O’Brien was secured to unveil Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Resorts Collection’s first urban retreat in the heart of Austin, Texas.
Murphy O’Brien conducted an aggressive media relations campaign to introduce this distinctive property across the local, regional and national stage, positioning it as setting a new standard of luxury in Texas. Strategy included highlighting the sleek design by creative director Ken Fulk, exceptional culinary programming and unparalleled service and gracious Texas hospitality— while leveraging Auberge’s reputation as a respected leader in the luxury travel space.
The first-of-its-kind luxury hotel with intimacy and character, heritage and independent spirit, Commodore Perry Estate has enjoyed continued national, regional and local acclaim through a grand-opening splash; tone-setting exposure in high-impact media outlets and individual media/influencer visits that have positioned the hotel as a visionary new playground that’s shaking up the Texas hospitality scene.
